Rou Gui is a famous Wuyi Yancha and this one shows why. Prominent sweetness with cinnamon notes that flow through the infusion into the aftertaste.
The 5501 Nanyang Story Zhong Cha Liu Bao is quite young, but it has great potential. Creamy flavours of camphor and mossy forest floor with a certain freshness.
Tee Kontor Kiel’s Sun Moon Lake Ruby was such a pleasant experience. Menthol with something sweet and a maltiness during the first infusions.

The 2004 Shi Kun Mu Yibang Gushu from Lao Tea Shop was good but subtle. I got a combination of dark honey and sour apples.
The Wu Di Hong Cha from Essence of Tea is one of a kind. A hong cha from Wuyishan that was produced very similar to yancha with a long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
The 2007 Suiyuan Guangxi Liu Bao 0506 from Lao Tea Shop is all about body experience and sitting in front of a fire under a blanket. Really warming tea.
The 2020 ZSL Mahei from Tea Encounter is a fresh young puerh from spring 2020. It has some traces of Mahei sweetness but there is also something fresh going on.
The 2007 Changtai Cha Hu Chen Nannuo Raw Puerh from Lao Tea Shop is fruity and sweet after the initial bitterness. Traces of apples and a very strong energy.
The 2018 TdC Ailao Shan Sheng Puerh from Terre de Ciel is a tea that made me feel as if I was walking on a cloud. Subtle, sweet and fruity.
The 2005 Zhong Cha Duoteli Grade 3 Liu Bao is a tea that goes the distance and is there when you need it. Solid tea with a betel nut flavour profile.
Tea Joint’s Si Fang Aunt Ming Shu Puerh is a fun tea to discover. It starts out with some edgy notes but becomes really comforting towards the end.
