Best Tea Subscription Tea Adventures

If you drink tea on a daily basis, having a tea subscription might be really handy. Having a tea subscription means that you receive new tea every month (or every couple of months) delivered to your doorstep. This is a good idea if you’re going through many cups of tea a day. There are a lot of options available, which is why I made this list with the best tea subscription services that are available right now.

There are various options to choose from, but it greatly depends on what you’re looking for. Some subscriptions are perfect if you just want some tea to throw in a mug and drink it while doing other stuff, but there are also options for people who are looking for higher quality tea.

Don’t know where to buy tea online? I made a list of over 300 online tea shops and I keep updating it regularly. You can check it over here

Best Tea Subscriptions

It’s best that you browse the different options to see if they are offering what you’re looking for. It might take a while but once you find the right one, it is nice to get tea in your mailbox every month.

Art of Tea

This is a Dutch tea company that offers a tea subscription for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. You should get enough tea to make around 1l of tea. A subscription for 3 months costs €29.75.

Curious Tea

Curious Tea has quite a few different options if you’re looking for a tea subscription. They have a discovery tea subscription, which includes 4 teas (40g in total) for £10 a month. The classic tea subscription costs `£16 each month and consists of 2 different teas (100g in total). They offer a variety of different loose leaf teas at affordable prices.

Essence of Tea

This is my favourite monthly tea subscription at the moment because the teas are usually really good. Higher quality loose leaf tea that is best brewed Gong Fu Cha. It costs $34.99 per month and includes shipping.

I have been subscribed for over a year and all the teas they sent me were fantastic. I can definitely recommend this one.

white2tea

The white2tea tea club is another great option if you’re looking for a good tea subscription. You get a good amount of loose leaf tea each month and it costs $29.99 (shipping included).

Exquisite Leaves

The Meishan Treasures tea club is a tea subscription that focuses on dark tea (hei cha) from Anhua province. This tea club will only offer dark tea from Anhua province, so don’t expect oolong or green tea.

It’s a monthly subscription service costing $35 and includes shipping.

Tea Repertoire

The tea subscription from Tea Repertoire focuses on all kinds of tea and offers 2 different teas (100g in total). You can subscribe for 3 months, costing €140 or 6 months, which costs €280. Keep in mind that these prices apply when you live in Europe. Other regions (like the USA) are more expensive because of shipping.

The Tea Crane

The Tea Crane is a shop that focuses on Japanese green tea. They have a tea subscription service that consists of Japanese green tea. It costs $25 a month (without shipping). There are options to pay monthly, per six months or for a whole year. The longer you subscribe, the better the price will be and you’ll even get some rewards.

You will also get access to videos about the teas you get each month in order to learn more about what you’re drinking.

Living Tea

This one is a seasonal tea subscription, which means that you’ll get tea once every three months. You will get three to five teas every time for at least 150g in total. The goal is to provide old-growth and rare teas. It costs $85 per season.

Tea Drunk

They offer a monthly tea subscription service in two different ways. You have a regular subscription and a reserve. The reserve has higher-quality tea but costs more. The regular subscription costs $50 per month, while the reserve option costs $80. You will also be able to join zoom meetings to learn about the teas you received and to talk with the Shunan herself if you want to ask questions.

Wuyi Origin

For $35 each month (shipping included), you’ll receive 50g of tea. It’s mostly focused on oolong tea and hong cha from the Wuyi area.

Eco Cha

This is a tea shop based in Taiwan and they offer a tea subscription for $35 per month (shipping included). You can save money if you subscribe annually. You’ll get 75g of tea, but I’m not sure if this is one tea or several teas. It says that they’ll send you a bag of 75g on the first of each month.

Team Tea

This is a tea subscription that starts at £10 per month (depending on where you live) and you have the option to get one month, 3 months or 6 months. It says you’ll get 3 loose leaf teas, but it doesn’t really specify how much tea you can expect.

Japanese Green Tea Co.

This company offers a tea subscription focused on Japanese green tea. You have customisation options to make sure you get what you’re looking for. There are many options with different prices so it’s better to check if there is something you’re interested in.

Silver Needle Tea Co.

This tea subscription is different from the other ones in the sense that you have to subscribe for a whole year. A yearly subscription costs $250 and you’ll receive tea from all over the world every month. It doesn’t specify how much tea you will get.

Tea in Town

This subscription service has many different options to choose from. You can subscribe for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. You get more benefits if you decide to pick a longer subscription. It’s definitely an interesting option because it has a more educational character about specific topics and the teas you’ll get.
