The 2014 Fengqing Ancient Trees from Vin-Satori was fruity and sweet and felt like summer is already here. Sweet and exotic fruits with a touch of leather.
The 2020 Yunnan Lincang Maocha from Lao Tea Shop was a nice change from my usual puerh drinking habits. It was fruity and refreshing with a fruity aftertaste.
The 2007 Lan Ting Chun Yo Ji Cha from Vin-Satori is another winner! An organic sheng puerh with notes of honey, prunes, apricots and a spiciness towards the end.
The 1998 Bao Yan Jin Cha Xiaguan from Tee Kontor Kiel is a sheng puerh with exceptionally clean storage. Notes of camphor and spices with a sweet finish.
The 2009 Hou You 9026 sheng puerh from Vin-Satori is such a clean and refreshing tea. I got notes of oranges in combination with other citrus fruits.
The 2006 Liming TF Ba Jiao Ting Tuocha is a tea with subtle differences and slight nuances between each infusion. It was a subtle brew that seems perfect to relax with.
The 2007 Red Label from Yee On Tea is a tribute to the original Red Mark puerh from the 1950s. It’s sweet with strong notes of incense and camphor.
The 2019 ZSL Autumn Yibang Ma Li Shu from Tea Encounter is a very sweet sheng Puerh from Malishu village in the Yibang area. Sweet with a tannic edge!
The 2004 Shi Kun Mu Yibang Gushu from Lao Tea Shop was good but subtle. I got a combination of dark honey and sour apples.
The 2020 ZSL Mahei from Tea Encounter is a fresh young puerh from spring 2020. It has some traces of Mahei sweetness but there is also something fresh going on.
The 2007 Changtai Cha Hu Chen Nannuo Raw Puerh from Lao Tea Shop is fruity and sweet after the initial bitterness. Traces of apples and a very strong energy.
The 2018 TdC Ailao Shan Sheng Puerh from Terre de Ciel is a tea that made me feel as if I was walking on a cloud. Subtle, sweet and fruity.
The 2002 CNNP Dai Language 7542 sheng puerh from puerhprivate is a good example of (semi-) aged sheng. It had a camphor flavour profile with a creamy touch.
The 2016 Yiwu Wang Bing Gushu is a sweet and tannic tea with impressive energy. In a few years time, it will be less tannic and have the perfect Yiwu sweetness.
