The 2019 Ripe Puerh Royal from Biochi is an interesting shou puerh. It’s only a year old, but it doesn’t bite your face off and it’s gentle and sweet.
Yunnan Sourcing’s 2013 Yong De Blue Label Ripe Pu-er is a good everyday shou. It starts out earthy with notes of camphor and becomes really sweet.
Trying the 2018 Gong Ting Ripe Stuffed Mini Citrus was a clear win. Musty notes of citrus that add to the already deep complexity of this tea.
